The award-winning community, originally developed by Arvida Corporation in 1971, is home to more than 8,000 residents (3,380 families). Boca West Country Club facilities are now owned by the membership, directed by a Board of Governors of 15 members who are elected by the general membership and operated through its general manager.

Four 18-hole championship courses skillfully designed by golf's finest architects, including the legendary Arnold Palmer, Jim Fazio and the newest member of the Golf Hall of Fame, Pete Dye.

    With each designer using their individual talents, four distinct golf courses were created. Strategically placed bunkers, rolling fairways that wind their way through the natural Florida landscape and putting greens that test your touch, golfers of all levels will be challenged and every club in your bag will be needed. The Boca West golf experience also includes a four-acre short game area, a driving range with 50 tees, individual golf pro shops and locker rooms for men and women, as well as our Grill Room, Sports Bar and Mr D's Restaurant.

    Our teaching professionals have years of experience working with golfers of every level, from novices to seasoned players looking to fine tune their game. Helpful clinics and a variety of golf tournaments are offered throughout the year.

     Man cannot live on golf alone. Which is why Boca West presents myriad forms of recreational sustenance, including an extensive tennis program. Our tennis facility boasts more than 30 Har-Tru courts (nine of which are lighted). For those wishing to sharpen their game, Boca West’s staff of USPTA certified professionals offers private and group lessons for all ages and skill levels.

    During the holidays, our junior program features clinics as well as tournaments and other activities. The Tennis Department at Boca West runs numerous social and competitive events, including exhibitions that have featured former and current world-class players such as Chris Evert, Martina Navratilova, Ivan Lendl, Jennifer Capriati and Jan-Michael Gambill.

    Our full-service pro shop carries a broad selection of the latest fashions and equipment, and is rated among the top ten in the nation by the Tennis Industry Association.      The focal point of the Sports Center is our sprawling free-form pool complete with cascading waterfalls, casual pool bar, bridges and lush tropical foliage, as well as a children's area, an adult lap section, outdoor spas, even an area for quiet introspection.

     We offer something for everyone at the Boca West Aquatics Center. Activities ranging from water aerobics to lap swimming to relaxing poolside can fill one's daily to-do list. Swimming lessons taught by certified instructors are available for those looking to brush up on their strokes or learning to swim for the very first time. Water basketball and volleyball are just two of the many activities for children as well as adults. But if you are looking for a quiet place to read or relax, take a walk to our adults-only pool deck and relax to the soothing sounds of our waterfall.Dining at Boca West is truly a feast for the senses. With six restaurants including a lively pool bar, there’s something for every taste. The Hibiscus Dining Room is ideal for entertaining guests, offering everything from our extremely popular Sunday Brunch to lavish lunches and inspired dinners – all within a gracious, elegant setting overlooking the golf course.

    The adjacent Hibiscus Living Room boasts live music and dancing, and is a favorite for hors d'oeuvres, aperitifs or pre- or post-dinner cocktails.
